What's Next in commonsku: Every Feature Coming in the Second Half of 2026

The agents, automations, and integrations landing in commonsku between now and the end of 2026.

In March we published a look at everything coming to commonsku in the first half of 2026.

The biggest change is that AI stopped being a demo and started being a button that you can actually use. Two tools went into open beta for Advanced and Enterprise accounts, and each has now been used more than 10,000 times. The first of those releases is the AI Mockup Generator which applies a client's logo across a whole product list and sizes it for you. The second was the Description Re-writer turning the supplier provided product description into a copy a client can not only understand, but feel excited towards.

What connects both releases is a deliberate design decision. None of them ask you to leave what you were doing, open a separate tool, or learn a new way of working. They sit inside the workflow you already use, at the exact moment the work happens. Charlie Moscoe, our VP of Product Management, said it best: AI earns its place by removing friction from the job as it already exists, not by adding a destination.

The Client Catalog also went live for Advanced and Enterprise accounts. If you run program work, you can now store the items a client re-orders — warehouse stock, eCommerce items, fixed decorated variants with their own SKU numbering — and drop them onto any order in one click, with supplier, tax, size, colour, decoration and description details carried over.

For finance users, Automated Billing for ePOs now creates your supplier bill for you when a Connected+ supplier bills against an electronic PO, and flags it as fully matched so finance confirms with one click. In addition, finance pages were rebuilt with native credit memos, vendor credits, refunds and adjustments to make account payables a seamless experience end-to-end.

Lastly, improvements to user experiences on commonsku, including: one-click Upgrade Product to ePO, product push to Shopify without manual SKU mapping, Shop expiration alerts at 7 days and 1 day, clearer Production Reports with live supplier status, expanded global search, a faster Projects page, Shepenco and iClick joining Connected+ to bring the network to 16, and a new partnership with Nicole McNamee for distributors who need fractional sales leadership.

That was the first half. What comes next is a bigger shift — from tools that help when you ask, to a platform that moves work forward on its own. Here's what lands between now and the end of the year.

Live Now: The Automation Engine

What's live: commonsku watches for work that's stopped moving and creates the follow-up task for you. Live for Advanced and Enterprise accounts, with additional automations in beta.

A sales order that's been sitting in Client Approved too long. An approval nobody chased. The Automation Engine notices, and creates the follow-up task for the rep before it becomes a problem. It's live now for Advanced and Enterprise accounts.

Here's what an automation looks like when it's running:

Automations is a platform, not a single feature, and the engine going live is only the start. Additional workflow automations are in beta now and opening broadly soon, starting with invoice due-date reminders — the first packaged automation, emailing a client a set number of days before or after an invoice is due. Observability is in design now and a plain record of what an automation did and why, so you can debug your own workflows instead of guessing. And customization comes behind it, so you can change what an automation does rather than taking the default.

Further out, automation expands past Presentations into Shops, estimates and sales orders, including the pricing and configuration nuances that make each of those different. Agents that monitor a project for shipping delays (and send the shipping notification for you) are on the same path.

In Beta: Print on Demand With Fulfill Engine

What's coming: Connect a commonsku Shop to Fulfill Engine so clients order product that's decorated and fulfilled on demand — from one shirt to a thousand. In beta now.

Connect a commonsku Shop to Fulfill Engine and your client can order print on demand products that are decorated and fulfilled as the orders come in.

Once products are pre-approved and configured, orders flow automatically into the standard commonsku workflow meaning visibility, reporting, commissions, and client management that your reps can view in one place.

Here's Charlie Moscoe on how print on demand fits into your workflow:

Phase two brings print-on-demand into the normal project workflow, so Fulfill Engine behaves like any other Connected+  supplier and you can put decorated goods on a regular order without needing a shop at all. Beyond Fulfill Engine, we're working toward additional print on demand partners to come soon.

In Beta: Custom Shop Domains

What's coming: Connect a domain you already own to a commonsku Shop, so the link you send carries your client's branding. In beta now.

Connect a domain you already own — yours or your client's — to a commonsku Shop, so the link you send carries their branding rather than looking commonsku-powered. In this first release the Shop still carries a "Powered by commonsku" footer, so think branded URL rather than full white-label. In beta now.

Q4: skubot Becomes an Agent

What's coming: Two skubot agents launching in Q4 — one that finds opportunities in your book of business, one that builds Presentations alongside you.

The AI tools that shipped in the first half do a task when you ask. The next wave works alongside you.

The Opportunity Agent digs through your book of business to surface reorders and cross-sell you'd have to go looking for manually. It's built with permissions baked in from the start, as Charlie puts it, "a rep can only see through skubot what they can already see themselves."

The Presentation Builder sits beside your Presentation while you build it. Ask it for products and it pulls them, reasons about lead times, and drafts alongside you. You stay in control the whole time by either letting the agent do things on your behalf, or step in and take over.

Here's Presentation Builder working alongside a rep:

"The potential value here of that co-pilot model is extreme … even for super senior people to move more quickly, to be able to spend less time on the configuration of the actual products and just let them focus more on the true value of what they're offering to their customers."

— Charlie Moscoe, VP of Product Management

There's a number behind this. commonsku sees around 38 million clicks a month, and roughly half of them are product configuration. The goal is to take out close to 80% of that extraneous effort, and to pull down the 41 days the average project currently takes from presentation to invoice.

Later This Year

What's coming: Order endpoints for external storefronts, reporting across currencies, a faster Bills page, a design pass on client-facing surfaces, and a few limits lifted.

Connected Shop order endpoints. New API endpoints let an external storefront create orders directly in commonsku. If you're running Magento, a custom site, or anything else in front of your commonsku workflow, orders stop being something a person re-types. This will only be available on the Enterprise API track.

A faster Bills page. The same performance treatment the Projects page got.

A refreshed look for Shops and Presentations. The client-facing surfaces get a design pass.

A navigation refresh, plus notifications that tell you when something finished running in the background.

More room on pop-up Shops. The 10-coupon ceiling is on its way out.

Where This Is All Heading

The shift: from AI that does a task when you ask, to AI that works the way you already work.

The through-line across everything above is the same. The mockup generator, the re-writer and the art configuration agent each take one task off your plate when you ask them to. The agents and automations coming next don't wait to be asked — they notice the stalled order, surface the client worth calling, and get a Presentation most of the way built before you sit down with it.

That's the point of building this inside a connected workflow rather than bolting it on. Every one of these agents is standing on the same foundation — your clients, your orders, your supplier data, your permissions — which is what lets them be genuinely useful instead of genuinely impressive.

None of it is about replacing the part of this job you're good at. It's about clearing the 41 days, the duplicate data entry and the follow-up you shouldn't have to remember, so the work that's left is the work worth doing: knowing the client, having the idea, winning the program.

What to Do Next

Are you a customer of commonsku?

Submit a feature idea. Go to Resources → University → Submit an Idea inside commonsku. A real person reads every one, and several things on this list started there — Shop expiration alerts came straight from a customer.

Get early access to betas. The skummunity Forum is where beta invitations get posted first, including the Automations group. If you don't have access yet, check with your admin that the "Access to skummunity Forum" permission is enabled for your account.

Talk to your CSM. The most common thing we hear on those calls is "I didn't know we had that." Your CSM can tell you the current status, timeline, and how to get set up. You can also reach out at support@commonsku.com.
