Tim Andrews is a luminary in the promo industry, he’s the President and CEO of the Advertising Specialty Institute (ASI) whose 350 employees serve a network of 25,000 suppliers, distributors, and decorators in the industry.

Tim joined ASI in 2003 and under his guidance, ASI has become a critical voice in the industry, notably a global voice, as our international world has become much more connected.

As many of you know, commonsku partners with ASI through an ESP integration for product search but Tim’s role expands beyond tech, he also serves as the President of ASI Show which hosts 15,000+ distributor attendees at trade shows and events across North America, including the ASI Show Chicago July 23-25th and he services as vice chairman of ASI Computer Systems Inc.

Tim’s background includes serving as the CEO of Premedia Business Magazines, a $400 million dollar media division and he served in a variety of roles at Dow Jones & Company, publisher of The Wall Street Journal. He also serves on the advisory council of ProPublica, an independent, nonprofit investigative newsroom founded by the former managing editor of The Wall Street Journal and the general counsel of Dow Jones. 

There is so much more to Tim but to give you a glimpse into his passion for positive change, he is a highly respected alum of  Ball State University and through their foundation in 2021, he endowed a Multicultural Center Graduate Assistantship focused on LGBTQ+ community studies at Ball State.
