What is commonsku?+

commonsku is a connected workflow platform built for promotional products distributors. It brings sales, presentations, orders, production, supplier POs, and billing into one system used by more than 950 distributor customers. Distributors switch to commonsku to run every merch project from estimate to invoice without juggling spreadsheets, email threads, and a stack of disconnected tools.


How much does commonsku cost?+

commonsku has three plans. Essentials is $129 USD per user per month for small teams (minimum 2 users). Advanced is $159 USD per user per month for growing teams (minimum 3 users) and adds Client Portals, advanced reporting, and more integrations. Enterprise is custom-priced. 

Do I still need SAGE or ESP if I use commonsku?+

commonsku embeds SAGE, ESP (ASI), and DistributorCentral product search directly inside the platform. You search those catalogs from within commonsku and add products to your Presentation, Sales Order, or Shop with one click. Whether to keep your SAGE or ESP subscription is your call. Many distributors keep them; others shift toward commonsku's Connected supplier network as their workflow matures.

Does commonsku integrate with QuickBooks?+

Yes. commonsku has a direct integration with QuickBooks Online, so invoices, supplier bills, and customer data move between the two automatically. There's a current partner offer for new QBO users. commonsku also has a direct Xero integration.

How long does it take to implement commonsku?+

The implementation timeline for commonsku varies depending on the size and complexity of your business. With the comprehensive onboarding resources provided, most clients can begin utilizing the platform effectively within 4 to 8 weeks. 

How is commonsku different from SAGE, ESP, or a generic CRM?+

SAGE and ESP are sourcing tools — they help distributors find and source products, but they don't run sales, manage production, send POs, or handle invoicing. A generic CRM like Salesforce or HubSpot tracks client relationships but doesn't understand promo workflows like supplier POs, ePOs, or decoration matrices. commonsku is purpose-built to run the entire promo distributor business in one connected workflow.
