Episode 129: Content Marketing Works: Why Aren’t You Using It?
According to the 2019 B2B Content Marketing Report produced by the Content Marketing Institute and MarketingProfs, sent to nearly 2,000 B2B marketing professionals around the globe, it revealed that 93% of the most successful B2B marketers report their organization is extremely committed to content marketing, so, while the rest of the B2B world is reporting incredible success and a devotion to content, the promotional products industry, for the most part, has not made content a primary part of their marketing strategy. Which is odd because content creates trust that virtually no other form of advertising can, it’s vital for lead gen, client education, and growth.
In today’s episode, Bobby Lehew (commonsku’s Chief Content Officer) and Mark Graham (commonsku’s Chief Technology Officer) sit down with our special guest and friend Bill Petrie, President of PromoCorner, to try and solve this problem and offer some ideas.
Billl Petrie is high profile personality, many of you know him many of us respect him, he’s held leadership positions in the industry for nearly 20 years, a sought after speaker for numerous events, a promokitchen chef, and much more, but what you need to know about Bill is that he’s a turnaround artist.
He has reinvented himself and the brands he’s worked for, and is a constant champion of change. As the leader of an industry media company, he’s not just a content marketer by trade, he’s someone who is very passionate and knowledgeable about it.
