From pixie dust to promotional products, Shelley Williams has tackled a wide range of creative and marketing challenges over her 20+ year career. Shelley joined SanMar as the VP, Marketing in January 2020. Prior to her time at SanMar, she previously led brand and creative teams at Disney Parks & Resorts, Expedia, Alaska Airlines and Rover. Her experience brings together a unique combination of marketing strategy, creative direction, and user experience-design to build distinct and memorable experiences across the entire customer journey. She studied Visual Communications at the University of Oklahoma and Fashion Design at FIDM in Los Angeles.
What makes Shelley fascinating to talk to is that not only is she the VP of Marketing for a multi-billion dollar, highly respected brand, but her experience gives her a unique perspective on both sides of the marketing brain: the creative side and the functional side, or what she calls the “what, why, and wow!” of marketing.
